110 Puma - needs a name!
Hi All,

Long time lurker, but new member. Already recevied some great advice from members in this group to help me with an electrical gremlin.

I drove many Defenders in a previous life in the forces, but only just got to owning my first. Picked up a quite tidy 110 from Bespoke Defenders in Harrogate (not the type they usually sell i must add!). It was a part-ex that they were considering using as a tow vehicle.

Anyway, 4 months of ownership and up until now it has been faultless. Useful on the farm, shooting wagon, school run, big shop etc.

Pretty standard except a new head unit as the old one had packed in.

Looking forward to being an active member in this group.

What a stunning colour! I’m biased, but I think the USW is the best model for looks Twisted Evil

Keep us updated on the progress. 2008 2.4 110 Utility Station Wagon XS.

Thanks .. I absolutely adore this vehicle..and I LOVE the colour!! Can't say I love all of its niggles, but that's land rover ownership 😂 will add some functional bits such as a roof rack, some rear quarter windows but not the side ones. Perhaps even a winch at some point.

Congrats, what a gem. Looks so good in green.

Thank you for serving for you country, much appreciated by many.

Hopefully you get all of the issues looked after. Myself I am trying to look after any niggle asap, the vehicle is not depreciating so I factor that any money spent is justified. That's my justification Rolling with laughter

Thanks! And that's a good way to look at it ... I need all the justification I can get 😂 I do have an understanding wife who actually sent me the link to the one I purchased, so she's partly to blame anyway for the spending.

I should give it some time before you finalise a name; the cute little kitten we had ended up being called Cooking Fat...

As in my father screaming: "That Cooking Fat's brought in another dead bird!"
