What’s this connector for?
Situated in the passenger compartment fuse box in a ‘02 TD5. Any advice?

Also have a few other plugs that are disconnected. Trying to diagnose the A/c not working at the minute.

It's not one I recognise and it's not the bulkhead loom to A/C one.

You can see all 2002 connectors here https://www.lrworkshop.com/connectors/defender-2002my

And here you can search connectors by wire colour https://www.lrworkshop.com/connectors/defender-2002my/colour

What are all the wire colours going into that connector? LR Workshop

I can't find it on the wiring diagrams either, but it appears to be on the AC controls side of the AC wiring.

You can see the blue/black + white/green + black/grey + brown going off on the other branch behind the fuse box, this should be going to the brown connector C0277 connecting to C0786 mounted on the fuse box plate.

What are the wire colours, is it a 3 pin plug?  1988 90 Td5 NAS soft top

A question regarding this connector was raised on LR4x4 10 years ago -

https://lr4x4.com/topic/93404-td5-connector-conundrum/

There was no definitive answer as to what it was for - but Mo Murphy (the OP) traced the wires back into the harness and determined where they were fed from. Paul.

Well remembered Paul !
To save reading the whole thread, I decided it was for rear air con.
I don't know if it is. But i thought it was the best explanation in the end.

Thanks for the replies. Great knowledge.

My A/c investigation is still on going. Currently have no blower at all on the A/c, I think I’ve located the blower relay, just left of the blower controls? I’ll check voltage there.

When I turn the blue dial I hear the engine note change, so something is happening there. Should the blower work regardless of blue dial position?

Thanks all
