That negativity aside...from what i can see there are some different hardware configurations for factory looking through parts etc, theres things that arent applicable when you select the different engine power.

One thing that would worry me, the D300's were pulled due to higher than normal failures, so along side hardware i would be worried the d300 increases the chance of a failure.

Source for D300 having higher than normal failures?

They only sold the D300 here in Japan, then from last year with MY25 the D350. Have not heard about engine failures here.

the fact they discontinued them because of higher than normal failures Laughing Mike

I don't buy that.

They did it because they get better margins since it's mainly software.

D300 already has the beefier brakes, additional aux radiator, and perhaps other parts tuned for the higher load. 22MY Defender 110 D300 S in Pangea Green and Contrast White Roof

Never read such nonsense. The D300 was not discontinued. It is still available in many markets.

lt may have been discontinued temporarily while they charged people extra for the D350 which costs no more to make.

I ordered a D200 but then it was "discontinued" and l had to have the D250 at £3,000 more. But a few months after l took delivery, the D200 was once again available to order.

The D300 isn’t available in the UK currently - you’ll want to check the build year of that model as there are still MY24 vehicles for sale as brand new (when the D300 was available). You’ll probably find that this vehicle is a MY24 year that hadn’t yet been registered - check the central console in the interior and that’ll be the biggest giveaway. 2025MY Defender 90 D250 X-Dynamic HSE | Santorini Black with Black Pack

D300 and d350 isnt any difference in price.

But there are differences so its missleading to say its just a different engine map.

That said - basically what all electric vehicles do and all manufactures have done.

Plus theres a warranty cover thats priceless! Mike
