I'd hazard a guess that they're both the same thing as it's hard to believe there are multiple factories producing them. Darren

They are different.
Not the same offset and load rating, as discussed here : https://www.defender2.net/forum/topic78860.html

Ah, I'd forgotten about that conversation! A quick glance at the Britpart website shows that they don't list the Sawtooth alloy anymore, so on that basis I'd go for Bearmach.

https://www.britpart.com/parts/wheels/wheels/alloy?f=

However, I didn't realise how different they were from the LR version in terms of offset and load rating. The latter are 20.6mm and 1000kgs compared to 13mm and 975kgs for the Bearmach offering (in 16"). More details here:

United Kingdom 2015 Defender 110 Puma 2.2 USW Montalcino Red
Morning, reviving an old thread.

Please forgive my Ignorance but trying to understand the different offsets. I believe I am right in the OEM Sawtooths are offset to 20mm and that is what ET20 means in the description?

I read somewhere that Boost Alloys are 33mm offset. Does that mean they would have potentially better or worse turning circle (if stops adjusted correctly) compared to the Sawtooth with 20mm offset?

Lastly I have the SVX alloys on my 110 with no spacers just standard set up which I am happy with. Does anyone happen to know the offset of these? I think it is 33mm, the same as the boosts

Thanks in advance for any advice given Thumbs Up 2015 Puma 2.2 110 XS Utility Station Wagon - 2024 - Present

original LR Sawtooth are ET20 i.e. 20mm offset.
Boost and SVX are both ET33, i.e. 33mm offset.
Stops adjusted correctly, turning circle is worst with Boost and SVX compared to Sawtooth.
But we are not talking big difference here.

Thanks for the info. Thats very useful. I’m really tempted to try and get some Sawtooths for my Landy so this helps.
Looking around I notice some aftermarket’s are ET10. From what you say above this would not be a massive difference in turning circle either.
I’d probably prefer to go ET20 anyhow 2015 Puma 2.2 110 XS Utility Station Wagon - 2024 - Present
