Probably cheaper to have the wheels machined out to accept a normal nut

get yours re-coated?
I don't have a clue how they have the cheek to charge what they do for wheel nuts, I bought 3 sets of black for £25 a pop... I did plastic dip my original set before "black" was available to the general public - at one point it was only for full build cars. |

I know what you mean on cost, not cheap at all.

Or have a machine shop fabricate new ones from 27mm A/F stock? 1988 90 Hard Top, 19J Diesel Turbo, Shire Blue - Restoration ongoing

Are you after the 24mm twisted ones designed for their wheels or 27s ?
There's plenty of the latter available https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Land-Rover-Defe...635-2958-0 |

That's a link to a snowplough (show-off! ) not a wheel nut! |

My current ones aren't looking to healthy either, if Wrightons needed a minimum order of several sets to make up a batch, I would happily put my name down for a set. 2005 Td5 110 Hardtop 1989 300Tdi 90 Soft top 1992 200Tdi 90 Truck cab with Land Cruiser axles |

Sorry, I assumed that they are 27mm across flats... so just take my comment as just an idea. If quantity is high enough, a tool shop with a CNC can churn them out at good price. 1988 90 Hard Top, 19J Diesel Turbo, Shire Blue - Restoration ongoing 2012 90 CSW, 2.2TDCI, Santorini Black |

£7.50 a nut. Would be good to have them in black. |

Just looked at their contact page on the website. The phone number is missing and email submissions thing doesn’t work. Doesn’t look good! |
