So plan B on the shifter is going to be a thinner leather gaitor and I have machined an alloy surround to sandwich it onto the console. Just need to get it anodised and then skim & finish the top faces.

Yes that’s the +/-. It’s a terrible pic, part is quite small, those holes are only 3.5mm diameter for scale Andy

Cant seem to get a gaitor to work due to the angles so just printed a piece to attach onto the gear knob and an insert into the console under the new machined piece. Pretty pleased with the results.

I’ve done a bit of head scratching on this and did look at those. I have another gaiter due this week and will try to make it work but have this setup to at least fall back on. Andy
