Outdoor cover
Hi all - current Halfords cover has given up the ghost - was ok for indoor storage but now the vehicle is outside I’m looking for something a bit more up to the job until I get the garage built! Anyone used or got one of these? Keen to order today plus they have additional 10% of today - every little helps!

If no good open to recommendations up to the £300 mark!
Thanks in advance

The thing that concerns me with the covers outdoors is potential abrasion of the paint on edges of panels when the wind blows, especially if there are dirt/ dust particles on the body when the cover is fitted.

I know some have a fleece lining but it still concerns me.

Good point! This one has a fleece lining and my wagon is black which colour wise I love but it’s impossible with that colour as even the smallest of marks show up to those of us with OCD!!!!!

I built a cheap car port!

Six 4" posts concreted into the ground, some cross-members and then some thin clear plastic corrugated sheet on the roof. Built it 5 years ago for about £400 (could have built it cheaper but I did guttering and everything!!) and it's still going strong today. It's great because it's nice and bright so I do all my car and bike maintenance under the car port even on rainy days!

I also find if I put a wet vehicle away in the garage it can still have water on it the next morning....The breeze under the car port dries things much better

I could "dismantle" it in 5 mins with my chainsaw Smile Defender "Puma" 2.4 110 County Utility (possibly the last of the 2.4's)

just wondering if anyone has any experience of 'profile covers' ?

or can recommend an alternative outdoor cover for 110.

I used one when I was building a new carport. I do not know the brand or model as it came with the vehicle. In the Danish climate it does not work with a vehicle that is not daily driven, as it created the circumstances for mold to grow. I had a lot of fun dismantling and steam cleaning the entire cabine. So beware of that.

I use a cover every night. Readily available, it's called "The Sky".

Joking aside, be very careful using covers for the reason pointed out by Mr Kold.
