2.4 Puma to M57 6HP auto Conversion difflock retention?
Anyone had a conversion done and successfully kept high, low and diff lock?

Had my conversion done by a garage who just merely fitted a high and low range lever.
This a cop out by them or is there genuine issues?

I’ve seen a mechanical kit and air engaged ones.

Cheers

I Went with MW Machines Air operated

As I already had air system and with the centre console any other way was a pain to intergrate as no where for levers

Mo I think uses a Vac actuator for diff lock, with Hi/lo lever

There is a relocation bracket that blackbird 4x4? Do james ayre makes them, believe that does both.

I have Marcus's Air operated setup. Diff lock actuation works very well, used about 6 to 8 times a day 3 days a week since Sept and no problems.

I already had onboard Air. Cheers

I used a disco cable shifter for hi /lo and vacuum operation for the diff lock. Works very well.

🤔 ok…
They fitted the cable disco shifter for high and low.
I was spun a line that the “air locker” for diff lock wasn’t reliable so they never fitted it despite being on quote.

Got a problem with heater blowing in exhaust fumes when not on recirculation too which needs addressing.
