Rock slider
Hi folks, planning to add rock sliders. I don’t have much experience with rocks… what should I look for? Any brand suggestions?

Personally, if they get used often, I prefer galvanized ones, so they don’t rust as soon as you start to pick up bangs, scrapes etc. However, there’s none available for L663 that are galvanized.

The terrafirma ones are available for both 110 & 90. They fit well, good enough design that is relatively easy to fit (about 90 minutes per side). Both the plastic and felt like material underbody guards will need cutting and on one side you need to drill a new hole (it’s already there on one side) for a rear bracket.

On the ones that shipped to us there were a few knocks in the paint, despite the good packaging, and these needed touching up with satin black before fitting.

Granite generally makes the best rocks. Avoid sedimentary stuff as it crumbles too easily. Smile

I would love a set of Tuffant Rock Sliders but I can only get them via the USA or Australia, but the carriage charge is a little excessive Crying or Very sad Cheers Ian
