Little update
it has been serviced and the remote locking fob now works from quite a way away! so my mate must have extended the aerial as he did mention the lack of it working bugged him when I loaned it to him. I have also bought a galv rear crossmember ready to install it when I get some time. just need to sort the steering death wobble and pulling to 1 side plus the tub and crossmember and also the heating now winter is coming. the full external roll cage is still sat in the log shed, I will probably install that once my new workshop is up. Pic below is of the steel frame being constructed on site, they say they will finish the welding tomorrow and start erecting it, so exciting times for me!

I cannot wait to have a nice warm clean organised workshop after 30 years of working outside on a gravel drive! Woodburner being installed for those cold winter nights!

So I decided to sell the 110 it needed too much work so stripped it back to standard and sold it for £12500 with its replacement tub thrown in as I didn’t have time to do a tub swap.
The replacement is a 2011 110 usw xs with 130k in much better condition with zero rot! I have already put my wolfs and km3 plus private plate on. I plan to remove the old side steps mounts today and fit the new windscreen blocks and mirror arms which have a puddle lights and wiring for heated mirrors! As for the steel frame it is pretty much up and complete!
I will place some photos now, it has been cladded in almost Keswick green colour which doesnt really show on the last pic but keeps the weather off the blocks a treat it is filling up with projects and defenders for sale! Looks good! Plenty of room there for you to do what you’ll like as well, that bit extra room is always useful.
I find like with trailers etc, often a bit bigger is always better than smaller, because you bet you may need it at a later date. A good level floor is so useful as well, then it’s safe and can use a creeper easier if needed and things like that. KEEP CALM AND Drill ON
