Axle and gear box oils
What’s the recommended quantity of oil for 2012 Tdci for front and rear axles plus gearbox.

What’s type and make are good value please[/b]

Axles and transfer box are fill to filler level, gearbox is 2.2L precisely.

If you are looking for quantity to purchase you can look here:

You’ll need up to 2L per axle, and 3L for the transfer box.
Both of these are less, but you’ll need to buy these sizes.
Gearbox is GL4 only,

Axle and transfer box the same, but GL5.

The gearbox oil must be filled the precise amount with GL4, and you’ll need 1L fluid transfer pump to get it in there, a manual one for £20 will do.

Personally I use Castrol now, but you can use others all personal choice of course. No Guts, No Glory.
