Hi All,
Me and my 13yr old son are first time defender owners ![]() ![]() Our new truck is an outwardly fairly tatty 2003 TD5 County Stationwagon 2 owners from new and barely run in at 110k. It’s solid and has lots of history and we love it! Looking forward to getting some great advice and sharing some of our experiences with it, we are already experiencing our first issue, which I will post in the TD5 section but wanted to say hello and thanks for having us!! ![]() Click image to enlarge |

welcome there pal, great to see your son taking a liking to it too
![]() These id say are the last of the best motors to learn on mechanical side i would say. All the modern crap is too computerized. So get him involved as much as you can ![]() Closest thing me and my dad did as a father and son project was rebuild a rover metro, back in the late 00s to the early 2010s. We did welding, rewiring, engine conversion. So basically anything the defenders threw at us practically, we can do ![]() ![]() ![]() Success is 90% Inspiration and 4 minutes Preparation # you can make it! |
