The 30mm front is a MOD Snatch upgrade roll bar kit made by Ricardo.

The rear is a Scorpian / Extreme 4x4 25.4mm kit

If Terrafirma is the same as Britpart, then it's what I put on mine. Seems okay, time will tell if they're reliable, but I'm quite pleased so far.

Eddie,

You shouldn't be disappointed. However, I highly recommend you paint it all in ACF50 as the electroplating soon disappears and starts looking in a bad way. I will post what it is like after 30,000miles/12 months and it doesn't look good. It still works though!!

Quick follow up, I've ordered and fitted anti-roll bars, and as you said, handling is definitely much better on road and fitting was an easy job actually, no drilling needed, everything was there in place ready on the axles and chassis.

I do have one concern though, on the rear, I find the ball joint assembly to be fairly bent toward the front which I find odd, as if the anti-roll bar was too long.

Is this normal? I don't have access to a vehicle with ARB mounted from factory to use as a reference.

Very old thread I know, but I have exactly the same issue, anti-roll bar joints are pushed towards the front of the car and pretty much touching the axle, that cant be right?

Did you ever find out the issue or fix it?

Nope, I left it like that ever since. No problem whatsoever.

On the front, though, it was touching the axle, so I enlarged the mounting holes on the bracket so I could move it back slightly. “A Land Rover immobilized is a moral defeat for the driver and bad publicity for the vehicle, […] it's up to you to do justice to your Land Rover!” - Land Rover Driving Technique.

Ok cool. Thanks for coming back to me so quickly.

I had the garage refit it but they didn’t do the nuts up and lost a polybush and the bolt/washer/nut on one side so was deciding whether to just take it off as never really noticed any difference with it on.

Really odd as it was originally on the car when I got it and im sure it wasn’t that close to the axle before. I was going to fit the Terrafirma larger one but couldn’t get it to go on as the joints were rammed against the axle. So thought I’ll put the old one back on but that’s now pretty much the same? Unless I’m missing something…

Thanks again.

Presumably you lot with ARBs are using them on 90s? My 110 was fine with braking in a a not straight line, my 90 is borderline dangerous.

not lack of maintenance - shorter wheelbase of the Ninety trades the stability of a 110 for manoeuvrability which can lead to a nasty moment sooner if things get out of shape
