I installed rivnuts and held the aluminium plate in place with M6 dome headed stainless screws. I am not too far from you. Where did you go for powder coating?

I don't remember the exact size of rivets for those, but in the end I did the same as Martin, going for the next lager size of Rivnuts and bolting the aluminium back on. Couldn't find properly sized rivets anywhere...

Try GESIPA on Google. They supply the original rivets 2015 90 XS Santorini Black

Great tip! Do you know by chance which one is the original rivet? There are quite many to choose from. |

I have managed to contact the company and they are helping out. They recognised the item but has been out of specific use for some time. The OEM side steps manufacturer had a special version made for them. I suspect a different type of rivet would work. Interesting to see what they come back with. 2015 90 XS Santorini Black

I would greatly appreciate, if you would post here the info, when you find out. I'm contemplating on refurbishing my side-steps, but not finding the correct rivets has so far held me back.
