Rusty rear door lock handle.
Evening all.

I have a rusty rear door lock handle and it’s becoming quite brittle. Can I buy a handle separately off a used unit and swap it, or are they complete and the whole lock/handle/mechanism needs replacing?

Thank you Smile 2008 2.4 110 Utility Station Wagon XS.

It is one unit and is replaced by changing the entire assembly.

The late version from 2013 onwards with holes drilled in the handle is counterweighted and nicer to use. Tub striker latch needs a flat filing in it otherwise it fouls the later assembly

I was able to swap the lock barrels when I did mine.
