In a job such as yours, you can foresee trends long before they become evident to the general public.
I was talking to someone who works for a company that tests new cars for manufacturers. He told me that the amount of cheap parts in expensive cars is frightening.

spuds, if you see what comes off the presses that, goes on cars. you will get a nasty shock. Parts with blisters and marks on, which is normally on parts where you are not likely to notice, or is covered up, Like the door foot wells, inner dash sides, side sills. You should see the bently stuff that comes off, before it gets wrapped Thumbs Up
I think i did mention on here about the production been parked before it even hit the public Thumbs Up
Like i say i can keep my ears open and i can ask about INEOS when they are expected to order parts again, as there will be some very large orders no doubt, depending on how many people have ordered an INEOS. Defender TD5 90 ---/--- Peugeot 306 HDI hatch back

Got the latest email update. It contains this "
INEOS has built what could be the toughest mainstream pick-up on the market."
Farmer's Weekly.
They must not be worried by the slightly lower cargo weight capacity than the old Defender.
It contains short videos on the following
"Let’s go outside
Our content series: ‘The Outsiders’ follows adventure-seekers who choose the path less-trodden, and inspire others to join them. Episode one features ultra-endurance runner, Will Goodge.!

" Historic America's Cup performance
42 intense races over 58 relentless days. INEOS Britannia is the first British crew to score points in 90 years. And first to win the Challenger Series. Meanwhile, on land at Barcelona’s marina, visitors could explore the Quartermaster, the Arcane Works Detour, and the Grenadier 1924, and test drive the Grenadier 1924 in the surrounding hills. "

"Gold standard
Equestrian, Laura Collett, won gold and bronze at the Paris Olympics this summer. Find out what it took, her thoughts on her new Grenadier. And why her friends are asking to be picked up in it. "

From the email you would not think that there was any hiccup in production. 1982 88" 2.25 diesel

I'm not sure that there really is a hiccup in production, anywhere other than the minds of the internet ill-wishers.

I had the chance to drive the Grenadier. It’s very charming! Much more than the defender!
And now I see why purists name the Grenadier as a true Defender successor.
It’s terrible as charming! Really like it!
Had 2 1988 and 1991 Range Rover, after that 1998 Nissan patrol GR 2.8 and 1999 and 1.6 3 door Suzuki vitara ( used in a desert rally…)
The Grenadier Made me feel alive again! It’s the perfect mix of the 4x4 I have enjoyed most.
Has got the comfort of a Range rover (from the 80s, which still amaze me), the capability and torque of the Patrol with rear lock diff and disconnected sway bar, in addition with the front lockable diff.
Wish the Ineos had more ground clearance.
It really make u feel useless after driving the defender off-road. I completely forgot how to use a 4x4 with no electronic support!
And here the first note: the defender can take any driver with no experience pretty much anywhere listening to music and talking to the passengers.
The Grenadier doesn’t allow mistakes! And like the old machines when you engage the central diff, the rear and the front you never know if they have been engaged or not Smile .
Simple obstacles become difficult if you don’t know what you are doing! It’s a different type of drive, constantly focused on what is in front of the wheels, no time for music, no time for talking to your onboard guests.
Road manners 2 steps behind the defender, comfort wise is ok and the petrol Bmw engine is solid and powerful enough, well insulated. Mpg pretty much V8 territory without the Charm.
Would I get one?
Logic answer is no. I don’t need that capability and pretty much I never need front lockable diff. It will sacrifice lot of the quality I Love of the defender. Riding quality, air suspension, and decent mpg (28/30) on long hauling ( 2/3 k miles around Europe every 2/3 months). Maybe with the trailer hooked I would feel much difference? One thing is certain. Ineos has got my attention and I am thinking to get a Commercial Version registered to my company.

I’ve been told, by a reliable source, that they have run out of station wagons to sell and that the seat issue is being resolved and production is due to restart in January.

I think that the old Defender sold more station wagon variants than any other. So it seems that Grenadier customers are doing something similar.
Glad to see some positive indications on the work front. 1982 88" 2.25 diesel

That’s the impression I got from Ronny’s video. I like it, especially inside. I’m not keen on the front, but overall I think it looks to be a great vehicle. Hopefully they’ll sell loads, then they’ll be plenty on the second hand market in years to come. 1983 110 automatic OM606
