i googled some companies, spoke to one guy who said 6 weeks and £300 so that was a no.

guy i used was £200 and turn around 2 weeks, Edge Automotive they're called and i found them to be fine, i was abroad for the 2 weeks they had it so not so much an inconvenience

Hi,
These were supposed to be my Christmas present but couldn't wait!
So fitted the new wheels and tyres to my old Defender.
I will be putting the original boost alloys& tyres plus wheel nuts & locking nuts for sale this weekend.

My partner had a couple of days out doing her bit with 4x4 response supporting the local community nurses who have home visits out in the sticks.
We dont get snow down our way often but Davidstow airfield is one of the highest parts of cornwall, so it does get interesting when the white stuff falls !
Yesterday was not as bad a Thursday, but she has no photos of that trip.

Laughing I go cold water swimming twice a week, it was 5 degrees in the water that day, minus 2 outside, with snow about too. It’s pretty amazing really - it makes you feel 10/10, especially driving the Land Rover to get there! I’ve not seen the other one before, there’s not too many around here, but I thought the photo would be good. 1983 110 automatic OM606

Do you swim or dunk? To stay in and do any distance gets my respect. I’ve done a bit and know it’s better once in, but to get the self control and then do a distance isn’t something I’ve mastered.

I wouldn’t be able to swim around a big lake as I’m not good enough, but its not a massive pool and I swim back and forth and can still mostly put my feet down, but was in nearly 7 minutes, before getting out. It’s been 10 degrees, which feels much the same as 5 and was in for 18 minutes. I alter the time in the water by feel, not the clock and adjust accordingly. If I’ve got the time to properly warm up afterwards I stay in longer, if not then less. I think It takes about two minutes to get use to the temperature and about 40 minutes to get over it! 1983 110 automatic OM606
