TDCI sunroof seals
Hi all

I have a 2007 Tdci 90 with what I assume is the factory fitted sunroof with the twist handle. The previous owner has gaffer taped it shut, presumably because it leaks.

I'm taking the car to get its roof painted in a couple of weeks, so I thought I'd take the opportunity to ask them to replace the sunroof seals with a new one while they're at it.

The thing is I don't know which seal is leaking, looks like there's a couple of them.

I'm looking on the LR parts website for seals and looks like there are two replacement kits available:

https://www.lrparts.net/awr3320-sunroof-to...-2016.html

https://www.lrparts.net/lrc10106-twist-han...patch.html

They look the same to me...can anyone help/advise?

Thanks!

Give the seal a good smear in vaseline as well. I did that on my 110 and it stopped it leaking.

I then didn't open it for about 6 years afterwards.

In the past I have removed the sunroof and refitted it down on decent sealant, has been completely dry for nine years now. It’s fairly easy to do, remove the rubber felt seal to reveal on the fixing screws, unscrew the bottom section from the top section and re seal.
