Yes, I had this confirmed by Lazer Lamps.
I decided that the current operation, via the manual High beam selection is actually my preferred option. 2019 Range Rover SDV8 Autobiography 2023 Defender 110 P400e X-Dynamic HSE - gone 2020 Defender P300 SE - gone 2019 Jaguar F-Pace SVR - gone 2013 SDV8 Autobiography - gone 2011 L322 TDV8 Vogue SE - gone 2006 L322 3.6 Vogue Se - gone 1999 P38 4.0 se - gone 199? Click image to enlarge Just looking through old threads for light bars, does the light bar above actually make a noticeable difference? I'm looking for one that looks good but actually improves visibility. |

I don’t have the car anymore but I can confirm that the light output was phenomenal. 2019 Range Rover SDV8 Autobiography

Thanks Buz1500. Really? I can't see any lumen output or spec of the lights so started to think they're just for show.
Think I'm going to order one so and the canbus sensor. |

I would also add that mine was mounted on the front grill using the integration kit sold by Lazer Lamps.

Grateful if someone can provide a pic of the connection to the high beam trigger wire please.
I'm about to fit the Lazer Linear Elite to my Premium Led equipped 90 so a bit of help would be appreciated to minimise cock up potential. Ta. |

Does anyone with MATRIX lights with an ectra lightbar have issues? Does it work with the MATRIX system or do you have to deactivate that bit and only use the auto light setting?
Did I hear right that PowerfulUK have managed to work thier magic and get a lightbar to work with the MATRIX system? 110 D250 SE HT 110 USW SOLD RRE HSE Dynamic Gone, wife killed it VOLVO XC60 R Dynamic with some toys Polaris RZR 900XP SOLD |

I’ll answer my own question now the install is done. I had some great guidance from Josh at Lazer which was really helpful. The high beam trigger wire for the NON-MATRIX lights is on the right side light (right as you sit in the vehicle, so driver’s side in the UK). You need to reach under the headlight to find the connector that goes into the rear of the light unit. You need to pull down on either side of the underside of the connector to release the clip, then pull the connector out. DON’T use this wire if you have the matrix lights as it apparently carries a lot more voltage. If you peel back some of the insulation tape, you’ll see a thin purple and orange wire in amongst the bundle. This is the high beam trigger. I didn’t trust a positap or scotchlock, so I cut it and reconnected it solidly with the Lazer loom wire woven in. Then re-wrapped in insulating tape I took the positive feed from the accessory connector which is under the black plastic cover behind (towards cabin) the big jump lead connector on top of the right side front suspension strut. I used a nyloc nut to fix the Lazer loom positive feed onto one of the four threaded posts there. Two of these are always live, which is OK according to Lazer. Check with a multimeter obviously. I fitted the earth to an 8mm bolt that goes into the body on the front of the right suspension strut. It holds a black metal bracket, and provides a solid earth. I also used the same bolt to hold the Lazer relay. Cutting the grill to make the hole for the light unit was a bit nerve wracking, but I took my time to ensure everything was in the right place. I used a multisaw to whiz through the plastic easily, and sanded it smooth. I was pleasantly surprised that the 3.5mm holes provide really good support for the light brackets. Routing the cabling to the light was a bit tricky. I removed the black plastic cover over the radiator pack. This is four push clips, and four torx bolts. With that off, the next step was to remove the painted radiator cover panel. There are four plastic clips either side. These aren’t like the ones for the rear light surrounds. These are moulded as part of the panel itself. You can access the top clips and push them out. I sprayed some silicone on the ones further down to ease the process, and was able to reach down and prod them out while holding in the headlight surrounds that they are clipped to. There are then 3x 10mm bolts that hold another surround on - with that loosened you can get enough space to get your fingers in. The idea is to route the Lazer loom along the same route that the existing harness behind the grill (that goes to the front camera) already takes. It’s a bit of a pain to get the Lazer loom through from the engine bay through to the grill area, but it’s do-able with some fannying about. You can then plug it into the light connector. That’s about it. It’s a neat install, quite subtle. |

Thanks.
Tried it for the first time this evening. Wow. Stupendous. Comes on with manual high beam as required (I don’t use auto high beam). Any deer caught in the beam will likely catch fire, so bright is the light. Very happy. |
