TD5 2001 10J engine None air com

Hi, I have a water leak between the engine block and the assembly that directly bolts to the engine that houses the water pump. I’ve not been able to find any part details for this housing or what I think may be a seal of some sort the goes between the engine and this large assembly. As stated this assembly houses the water pump and has an idler bolted to it for the serpentine belt and I think the power steering pump. It’s a none air con truck. Does it in fact have a seal i can get hold of between these two parts? Any help would be much appreciated. Mike

Are you sure the water isn’t coming out of the weep hole in the bottom for the water pump?

I’m fairly sure it’s at the back of the casting that houses the pump as it’s higher than the weep hole, but I can double check but not for a couple of days. My thinking was water will tend to go down rather than up. The red pipe directly above the casting was very crusty so I cleaned this up as it was leaking from here so I thought I had solved the problem. Is sorted the pipe out but I still have a leak in the same area. Mike

There is a O ring that goes between the accessory block and the main engine block but if your taking it off you are probably better off changing the water pump as it's alot easier when it's off. There is also a coolant core plug behind the exhaust manifold too that can leak but that tends to burn off with the exhaust heat 110 Td5 Ex Utilities slowly converting into a pop top camper one day

ERR6711

I would do LVJ000010 while you’ve the system drained on the coolant elbow -top hose.

You can buy the three water pump seals as a set PFQ10001L you will still need ERR6711
