England 2005 Defender 90 Td5 XS CSW Tonga Green
Do you know what 'name' that colour is Electron? I am planning on getting mine painted in the not too distant future in a similar scheme - I was going for 'pastel green' with a limestone roof.
I was just wondering if that is what yours is also, to give me some idea of what it would like like once finished? 2005 Td5 90 XS

That looks like a really nice project - what seats do you think you’ll go for in the end or are you sticking with originals? No Guts, No Glory.

Colour is LRC726 - Atlantic Green

Seats are staying as they are but I may change my mind when I do more mileage in her ...

We soldier on burning fivers as we go but nothing like Land Rover with their Classic !!!

Going MegaJolt so the coils have been neatly tucked out the way and the distributor has been cut down to keep the oil pump but loose the points etc.

Moved to new doors which will make the purists shudder but had the windows prised open too often.

Now with opening vents as the previous paint jobs had glued them shut !

So I went for the Range Rover cast manifolds and downpipes with the Discovery V8 crossmember and it all fits beautifully ... hopefully the TD5 rear section will plug in as easily ..

Wallet is now very thin !! The TD5 exhaust physically fits but the mounts are in the wrong place. Decided to bite the bullet and have new chassis mounts made so exhaust replacement in the future is straightforward. Wings are back on so we get ever closer !
