Jack it up at one end only and see if you can turn the prop when diff lock is supposed to be engaged. If you cant, its working. Make sure the handbrake is off and main box is in neutra

Jack up a wheel.

Moving the lever preloads a spring which pushes the diff lock collar when the 2 halves of the diff are aligned. The lever does not directly engage the diff lock!
There needs to be movement between the 2 halves to allow the alignment and then the engagement. When driving this can most easily be accomplished by turning left or right which will cause the front wheels to travel at a different speed to the rear and align the 2 halves. Likewise if the diff lock will not dis engage, driving rear wards or left or right will release the pressure and allow the 2 halves to separate. |

Hi a quick update
Jacked one of the front wheels up today it turned ok, gearbox in neutral put in to diff lock high and it still turns freely Has anyone any idea what it could be |

Follow the linkage down to where its fitted to a spur on top of the t box, turn the 13mm nut all the way to ensure its fully over on top of the box. Assuming linkage is all connected and not fouling a bolt head. Cheers
