United Kingdom 2015 Defender 110 Puma 2.2 SW Scotia Grey
Syncing new key fobs
Hello

I have a 2015 110 SW. It comes with the newer key fobs - with the chrome strip, which from other forums seems to sync with the ALM ECUs starting with DH serial numbers. It only came with one fob, so I am keen to have more.

I have bought new additional JLR OEM fobs - part no LR087665 / 434 MHz.

And I have bought a Nanocom

Question 1: Is it really as easy as the videos suggest to sync these using the "plip" function ? The videos I have seen show the Lucas fobs rather than the later ones

Question 2: How many fobs is it possible to sync to any vehicle (I am hoping to have 4) ?

Question 3: The fobs come in individual bags each with a different code number on the front, example 37820B38. Is this something I need to keep a record of, or need for sync'ing the fobs ?

Any guidance would be much appreciated

Thank you
