Preconditioning on full SoC drains the battery
I have an issue with my P400e. If I precondition the cabin while the car is connected to a charger and at 100% SoC the vehicle will fail to maintain the SoC and instead drains the battery. I can see the vehicle pulling 1-3 kW of power from the charger but that doesn’t seem to be enough.

Also, if I set a departure timer, preconditioning will fail if the vehicle is at 100% SoC, and show a message in the app saying that SoC is too low.

Anyone have similar experiences? My charger is 32A and typically outputs 7 kW when the car is charging.

I’ve only had mine nearly 2 months and haven’t preconditioned often. I do suspect that mine has also drained the battery even though it was on the charger at the time. I will have to test this to confirm.

I always charge to 100% and can confirm I’m able to successfully preconditioned when the battery is at 100%.

After a software update and reset of an associated module I can precondition of the charger power now too. Scheduled departures with timed climate still doesnt work though.
