I've only ever seen wolfs 6.5 wide, genuine or aftermarket, unless they have been banded. James

after having repainted my new to me Wolf rims: do you guys remove the paint on the inner side of the rim where it contacts the hub?

No . I’ve just repainted mine and didn’t need to do this. What I did do is wrap duct tape around the hub so I could refit the wheel without excessively marking the new black hub paint.

Where to buy Wolf rims? And Toyo Open Country tyres?
Hello All. I’m thinking of switching across my 16inch Boost alloys to black Wolf steel rims, and hoped someone could suggest where to buy? Seems most online retailers sell and they all look similar in spec (and wording of adverts). Does anyone have experience of where to buy?

Also, I don’t do much/any off-road, so thinking of trying tyres more suitable for roads but still looking quite ‘beefy’. Anyone experience of the TOYO Open Country AT Plus? Looks chunky, so hopefully sits well with a D90, but less road noise, maybe.

Thanks in advance for your wise words and sage advice. 🙏

Hi Leighton, welcome to D2N.

Good choice changing to wolfs! You get genuine wolf rims which are the original and further inboard or wolf style which are et0, for a wider stance, out side of tyre is virtually flush with wheel spat.

I bought the wolf style rims with tyres all ready to go from 4x4tyres. It was years ago now but great service and great price. James

Thanks Martin for comments and suggested retailer. Looking at various pics I think that's what I'll do. BTW - like your Instagram page! And, love the soft-top!
