There is a "support" on the crossmember which does NOT appear to be attached to the transmission. It looks like it's supposed to but is not.
Is this how it is in everyone's truck??? 2009 Puma. I'm going to try attach two pics of my crossmember. |

I asked the same question a few months back (as have many others). It might even have been Naks who answered it
It's probably a vestigial mounting for something long-forgotten... Tell someone you love them today because life is short. But shout it at them in German because life is also terrifying and confusing... |

Looks just like a bracket for holding the steering guard/underbody protection steady? 2008 RS4 gone, 123d M Sport, and a Puma 90 XS..
