Just insured mine with Land Rover
£141 a month, they don’t do single payment
But that’s for street parking in London
Most quotes I got were around the same price but £5000 excess !!!

Thats not to bad. I wasn't going to try Land Rover but might now give it a go. I'm also in a village with off street parking. Eiger Grey MY23 D250 SE with bits. Known as Noddy.

You could try adding extra experienced drivers it may bring the total down. On my insurance I had 3 named drivers, myself 60+, my daughter 34 and her husband 34 both with long driving histories. In September I headed off to Andorra and the 2 guys who I was going with said they would share the driving, so I added them onto my policy as named drivers, one 59 and the other 40, I was expecting this to bump up my policy cost but to my surprise it knocked nearly £50 off Laughing Cheers Ian

Just renewed with NFU. Up on last year but still cheaper than the quotes I got elsewhere, 0% interest on paying monthly. Current vehicle: 2020 Defender 110S
Gone: Defender 90 HT 200Tdi, Discovery Sport, Freelander 2

Brace yourself Moo...
I'm London based, with a bit of business mileage, street parking, 2yrs no claims, fully comp, no other vehicle. So probably the worst case for insurance short of having a RR..
Last year my premium was £2k.

Best quotes I saw from gocompare, moneysupermarket, were £4k-4.5k.
JLR £4.5k
AdrianFlux £6.5k
DirectLine, HastingsDirect, NFU, Swift, refused to quote.
Admiral were easily the best at £3k.

AdrianFlux also recommended Admiral as the best at the moment for LR products so maybe start there. That was indeed my experience - even though they suckered me with a 56% increase from last year, they're still the best out there.
