unidentified disconnected cable connector Defender 2007 Puma
Defender 110 fitted with puma engine 2007.

I have just had to fit a new starter motor and whilst underneath found a disconnected cable. I can not see where it would go and appears to have a very short lead from the cable harness.
It is a single spade connector which considering the age seems quite bright but it has two wires connected to it one is Black with green stripe and the other appears to be blue with either orange, brown or red stripe. It is located on the left hand side of the engine

behind what I believe to be the oil pressure sensor. I have identified the part with an arrow on the picture.

I have searched the wiring and connector databases but can't seem to get a match with the connectors wire colours

Everything with the defender appears to be working with no faults indicated

Can anyone identify it please

The “spade” you can see is plastic, and is on the blanking plug fitted to the connector in the factory. It isn’t supposed to fit anywhere.  1988 90 Td5 NAS soft top

Thank you Martin I must admit I didn't check to see if it was metal. In the light I was working in it certainly looked like bright metal but now you have said it I can see the inserted blanking piece
