The HMMWV's are an entirely different beast from my H1. The interior - so to speak - is non existent (As I'm sure you're aware).

The auction trucks are demilitarized - which means that their armor has been removed. There are some outfits out there that will make armor kits for them that look just like the OEM armor. Likewise for the bulletproof windshields.

The A/C Systems in those things stinks though.

Saw a comment by custom90 that he enjoyed the sound of a big gurgling American V8 or diesel. Well, I present to thee, my "bag of hammers". Cold start in December.

Other than my Defender, the Humvee is my other dream vehicle. Having already the AC and armor already installed is a bit plus too! Very Happy

The Humvee is nice, must be heavy armoured! NEVER SURRENDER! ⛽️🛢️👨‍🔧🧰⚙️ RED, WHITE & BOOST! 🇬🇧

H1 - Looks and sounds great, is that a 4” exhaust on there or bigger?
Is it straight through?

Mind you a Defender V8 is good sounding too. Wink

These are some mean machines for sure:

Yes it's a 4" exhaust from the "cat" (really a soot trap) back. It's all pre emissions regulations over here soooo the soot trap itself isn't long for this world. Will really help my EGT's while towing. 2022 Defender 110 SE P400 Tasman Blue Expedition and Cold weather package

EPA is the worst, it was only created to have an effect on people they wanted to get one over on in my opinion. NEVER SURRENDER! ⛽️🛢️👨‍🔧🧰⚙️ RED, WHITE & BOOST! 🇬🇧
