Went to Apple to begin with but I got lost in the tech jargon.
I have a Macbook Pro with M1 pro chip set. But their blurb made no sense to me. If you want stuff blowing up, I'm your man, but tech stuff, I'm a luddite 110 D250 SE HT 110 USW SOLD RRE HSE Dynamic Gone, wife killed it VOLVO XC60 R Dynamic with some toys Polaris RZR 900XP SOLD |

you will need to plug both displays directly into your mac or get a docking station.
once plugged in go to apple logo top left>settings>display you can then hit the + icon on the right under the screen icon to extend and setup the extra screens. |

depending on the docking station its also hit/miss
Best is to plug each monitor to the Mac, does it have a HDMI on it? plug one in to that, then another usb c socket with a usbc-hdmi adaptor and all will be well, note from memory only one screen can be driven from quite a few docking stations when using a Mac (all the Macs where I work need an extra cable so on hot desks you get both screens working) then as mentioned above go into display settings and ensure they are not mirror, but extended. I have a screen connected via HDMI and second screen via an adaptor in the USB C port.
I can get all 3 screens to work but can't pass images from screen to screen. I wanted to have the ability to to oen several files from the company server onto at least 2 of the screens. Which isn't working currently 110 D250 SE HT 110 USW SOLD RRE HSE Dynamic Gone, wife killed it VOLVO XC60 R Dynamic with some toys Polaris RZR 900XP SOLD |

In windows speak, you can either duplicate these displays (sounds like what you have) or extend the displays (sounds like what you need to do) and then you can identify the displays (with a number) and then reorder the displays so you can drag between each one (in what ever order you have the displays laid out)

This. There are only two alternatives: a) all screens show the same - it seems, that's not the case, good b) each screen shows one part of a three-part mac desktop - it seems, that's the case, good. Now, with b) the mac wont know where on your physical desktop you have placed the Mac and the screens. You need to sort them manually. Go to display settings and just drag them left/right. https://www.eizoglobal.com/support/compati...a/img5.jpg https://www.eizoglobal.com/support/compati...s-ventura/ Your experience that you can't drag something over to the next screen is probably because you hit the left or right edge of the desktop. If you drag it out the other edge it'll apprear on one of the other screens. p.s. If you think this is complicated - it's totally intuitive, at least compared to how you need to configure this in Windows. My wife had the exact same problem with her new work desktop last week and I couldn't believe how Microsoft always finds the most complicated way to do things |

Reading all the responses it seems my technophobe is coming therough with what I want to achieve.
When I'm at my clients, I log in via remote desktop. So have full access to their server. So when I log in I have my desktop showing, but when I open my email or a file/folder it stays on the smae screen as the desktop. I want to be able to drag the email page or the specific file to the other screens. I have 1 screen into my macbook pro via the HDMI and the second screen in via the USB c via an adaptor. 110 D250 SE HT 110 USW SOLD RRE HSE Dynamic Gone, wife killed it VOLVO XC60 R Dynamic with some toys Polaris RZR 900XP SOLD |
