Slovakia 2015 Defender 110 Puma 2.2 SW Montalcino Red
Puma 2.2 engine transit compatibility
I am buying a new engine for my Defender 2.2 Tdci. I have found a brand new engine for a Transit 2.2 RWD. I know that the oil sump on the Transit engine is different from the one on the Defender, so it will need to be changed. On the cylinder head of the new engine, there is a code K4 TEA 2.2 RWD-08, and on my engine, there is K4 TEA 2.2 RWD-11. Does anybody know what these codes mean and if they are compatible?
Can anyone tell if this Transit engine is compatible with a Defender 2.2?

Congratulations so far, You have really brought a smile once again on me. Because I spent a lot of Money for the previous Engine by doing Engine Overhaul but yet didn't work. It ended up doing Engine Overspeeding and led to breakdown the Crankshaft and the block sleeves as well. I was giving up with my Defender. But through you, really I'm quite sure my Defender will wake-up once again. Then can I know the supplier of the Ford Engine 2.2 from SA.?
