Scotland 2013 Defender 110 Puma 2.2 USW Baltic Blue
When I take my cubby off - as I had to yesterday - the wiring loom for the subwoofer comes through a big grommet in the transmission tunnel hatch. Don't know if that is as standard but was there from new for my MY2012. Stepped Hole drill bit would do the trick if you need to gain access. But remember the grommet afterwards!

Yours must be original. I am trying not to drill any holes for now
