Dog rear seat "hammock" recommendations
Hello all

I recently got this dog "hammock" for the L663:https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0DBVJL774/

We took it for a test run before an 18 hour trip later this month and I was less than impressed to say the least. Not that I should be surprised about cheap amazon Chineseium.

The hard bottom is too wide for the back seats and I can't move the front seat back far enough for my 6'6" legs to be comfortable. The back doesn't go all the way to the top of the back seat The sides don't have any kind of stiffening bar in the top edges of them so when you hook them into the grab handle, they just fold up like a taco shell. The worst part is that the mesh they used in between the seats is so cheap, that when I put my 11 week old puppy in the back, he had put a hole in it before I even was able to get into the front seat. Additionally there's no way to tighten up the top edge so it kind of folds like a taco too.

I'm not all that upset by it consider the price - but I was wondering if there were any of these types of dog "hammock" protectors that were made specifically for the L663. I simply cannot find any that aren't "generic" or "universal" - and that ain't quite working out for me.

Thanks in advance!

Looking for the same, and in particular one that opens up to the front center console, fits well and also has access to the belt attachments for the restraint to plug in to.

Likewise, Orvis makes good stuff. But the problem with that is that it doesn't protect the door cards and that soft-touch material on the doors will show paw-claw marks. 2022 Defender 110 SE P400 Tasman Blue Expedition and Cold weather package

Amazon again, but we've been impressed with this. Range of sizes, stiff top edge & stiffening bars for corner uprights.
