L663 Key Copy via OBD
Hi,
I have 1 working key and brand new ready to be code key. I need to replace my existing OBD tablet as the screen is damaged so does anyone know of an Autel, Launch or other OBD device that support Key Duplication for L663 via OBD? I looked at the Lonsdor devices but they only support older generation from what I can tell. I think GAP IID may do it but I then would also need to buy a new scanner/tablet for other work.

Figure I may as well buy a new OBD device at the same time.

Many thanks for suggestions.

Go IID. It will work on your phone, laptop or tablet. It’s handy to keep in the car and then use on your phone etc MY25 90 D350 X-Dynamic HSE in Silicon Silver and coil sprung

Hi, be careful because I believe the latest Land Rover security software updates block the programming of a new key, and as such you need a whole now ECU aswell as new keys. Not 100% on this just something I read somewhere, but it make sense based on the type of common vehicle theft here in the UK

That's true. It limits the number of keys to two. Eiger Grey MY23 D250 SE with bits. Known as Noddy.

I have an early L663 going in for 'Security Up-Date' soon. I was told to bring BOTH keys, as these will be deleted and re-programmed to the NEW security of my vehicle.
And yes only 2 keys !!
