Hi
does any know, if there is an upgrade kit for the washer system on the defender (puma) that will attach to the wiper blades themselves, and spray water directly onto the window? or, have any suggestions on how to go about it? Cheers keith puer claudius |

That is exactly the same as we did with the snatch land rovers- very simple and all you need to d is get down the scrappy to get the attachments for the wipers. Glyn |

I`ve been at Allisport`s all day and we were talking about the exact same problem, Andy fitted today some Disco2 headlight washer jets to the bonnet of his Wildcat complete with the washer pump, it works really well.
I was thinking about mounting some jets on my bonnet. |

My washer blades are a piece of s?=)t with 15000km. Yours also?
I was thinking also on some sort of washer upgrade. But, probably the bonet is a bit far from the windscreen. Puma 110" SW ............................................................. Earth first. Other planets later |

Technical bulletin: Summary: Windshield wipers juddering or making a knocking noise when operated. Note that windshield wiping quality is not affected by this issue. Before proceding, note that the following conditions are not associated with the two symptoms described above and therefore not covered by this bulletin: NOTE: Where there is evidence that parts which do not suffer from these conditions have been replaced against this bulletin, the warranty claim may be rejected. Fuel damaged parts. Parts damaged in car washes. Bent levers or primary yokes (wiper blade structure). Bent arm-pieces to modify the attack angle. Damage of the wiping edge of the blade - torn or sections missing. Damage to the wiper blade rubber due to contamination with solvents or silicon-based products. Contamination on the wiper blade which would prevent the blade from performing as expected; the function of the wiper blades is to clear the screen of water. Examples are: Fuel, wax, dirt, bird excrement, dead insects, plant material. Technical Bulletin LTB00068 should also be referenced to ensure the root cause of any judder/noise is not due to a permanent set condition of the wiper blade. Cause: Condition of the wiper arm mounting or spindle Action: Should a customer complain of the above symptoms, the cause should be diagnosed, and if relevant cause is found, after carefully reviewing the notes above regarding other conditions/actions, the windshield wiper arm should be replaced.
