Meridian to retrofit Meridian Surround Amplifier
Wanting to upgrade the Meridian amplifier to the more powerful Meridian Surround amp. Does anyone with TOPIX have the pin layouts for the two amps to share?

Assuming it is the same connectors plus the two rear and two centre speaker connections. I don’t really care for the surround function, anyone know if you can just add the more powerful amp and still run just the 11 speakers instead of the surround 15 speakers?

This might help someone, I have worked out these are the pinouts:

I have now wired in the amp to all existing 11 speakers and working. I now need to add the rears in the headlining (or similar location) as the backup sensors beep on those speakers.

I would also like to add the front mid and tweeter to get a better soundstage. Next project is working out how I wire up through the telematics module so I don't lose the telematics function.

Indirectly related:
Can you confirm that the front centre speaker above the front air vents is present (it is there for me) but it is not active and there is no sound? And if I were to retrofit the Meridian Surround Amp then this would 'activate' the front centre speaker? 22MY Defender 110 D300 S in Pangea Green and Contrast White Roof

It is a different speaker, you would need to upgrade that speaker and also add the tweeter. You would then need to activate the speaker and run wires for the tweeter.

I am happy with the sound without the front centre channel
