You are not even guaranteed a few pumps of grease in the UJ's either Steve.

and I forgot to mention Toppings only use Castrol SLX (trade version of Edge) 5-30 powerflow - a lot dearer than Magnatec !

The Toppings invoice lists it at £7.50 per litre plus vat.Oil change came to £52.50 plus vat.Oil filter was £9.98 plus vat The Halfords Puma oil filter is Coopers. 1982 88" 2.25 diesel 1992 110 200tdi csw -Zikali 2008 110 2.4 tdci csw-Zulu 2011 110 2.4 tdci csw-Masai |

yep Spud the point I was making is that even at a great value service charge Toppings aren't skimping on quality and for your £250 you still get an oil thats better (and more expensive for them to buy) than the std spec Magnatec which makes them even better value

Every dealership should have a master tech on site.
The price you've been charged for the SLX Powerflow (which is for all DPF equipped models) is very good, in fact it is too cheap. They are only making a couple of Pounds a litre on what we pay for ours at full trade. |
