Assuming then this is a 200 tdi? How many miles?
Excessive crank case venting normally means bore/ring wear resulting in combustion blow-by. Although not as straight forward as with petrol engine, but you can do a compression test to check for engine health. These engines are not that complicated and still quite common so you should be able to either overhaul or find a replacement engine. |

I don’t have any experience with the Isuzu 4BD1, but I would start with cleaning the catch-can and replacing the PCV (if it has one?).
I would also check to see if oil is leaking on to the exhaust manifold.
