Lost again clutch connection pipes...
Hi,

learned my lesson again never change parts when you have lack of time...

Now bleed nippels.

as I was changing my gearbox I thought it was wise to change the rattling clutch plate and crank oil seal.

I changed my clutch for the LOF Powerspec kit. within the kit was a new slave cylinder.

They sold to me a new plastic pipe.

Now I see the outise pipes differ forom what was in.

I changed my gearpox with a 20.000km gearpox I bought in the past. I has the exaxt same pipes as what was original in my car.

I cannot find the parts in my car in the parts manual

Now I presume I need a new steel pipe set as well...

Or am I doing something wrong!?

New Lof cylinder, with extended plastic pipe (fitted first the old pipes as I thought the long pipe didnt fit but it goes diep in the slave cylinder).

Old pipe setup and on the botom the extended piece.

The old setup has an alloy extention, but it doesnt fit the new setup.

I'm not sure I follow all you are saying, but basically I remember noting a difference between the clutch slave pipework that was supplied with my lof clutch and the original bits I removed..
The external bits on the original pipework had an alloy valve (the valve is designed to limit the shock load if your foot should slip or release the hydraulic pressure to quickly)
On the new fitting I think that valve is in black plastic..
Also the inside connecting clip to the slave cylinder isnt in quite the same location..
Basically when you fit the new slave you are best to fit it with all the new parts that come with it..
The valve I referred to above is interchangeable with identical connections, but I just fitted the new plastic one..
I have a couple photos I took at the time of the internal bell housing connection, which highlights the differences..
