2015 key fob
Hello, sorry this is my first post and I don't know if this is the correct place for it. I have a 2015 Defender with only 1 key fob. I have bought a replacement fob however have been told that it needs programming properly. Land Rover say they can't do it for the 2015/16 models. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated!

You will have a DH xxxxxxx version of the ALM unit, therefore a Nanocom with a Puma license and build 1.36 installed should be able to do it. Noting blackbox solutions ( Nanocom) tested their software on a CHxxxx version of the ALM unit and could not confirm it would work with the later DH version but “ thought” !!!! It would work ok.


As for your LR dealer saying they can’t do it, LR dealer diagnostics tools certainly can do it, so check out another dealer.

Ps. If an earlier 10AS of later ALM CHxxxx version goes faulty LR replace it with the ALM DHxxxx version as fitted to the last Puma’s such as yours. Therefore this confirms their diagnostic tools can program the ALM DHXXXX unit, else they would not be able to fit and program it.
