On one of my very few visits to facebook this pops up Confused If the guy who has welded the 'bull bar' has been anywhere near the actual conversion I think I would be worried

I think at this point the type approval that allowed this defender to drive on the public road is likely no longer valid, but don't worry the owner will have passed the individual vehicle approval (not). Only in America untill the lawyers of the poor sod speared onto that bull bar get involved. Freedom does come with responsiblity!

I suppose it is always said and it is already a topic, but I reiterate once again... I think that all the preparation, bars included of course, is unsightly garbage!!IIMHO

Well, I can see the attraction if you can do this yourself keeping costs relatively low, then sell it onto someone who is willing to pay well above the odds "because zombies and cool"....

Then again, I still don't think it should be allowed... Laughing The Yeti - 110 Camper https://www.defender2.net/forum/topic90308.html

Looks like the middle diff doesn't have the filler bung fitted, so maybe there isn't much oil in it given there doesn't seem to be any oil on the outside of the housing.

Hahaha along the same lines as @eno, looking at the last picture on the original post, looks to have continued with the leaking defender theme, I wonder if that is an oil leak underneath or just where it was washed... Laughing The Yeti - 110 Camper https://www.defender2.net/forum/topic90308.html

I've lightened the photo and zoomed in and it looks like there is a bung in there, it's this type
