2005 Defender 110 Td5 SW Alpine White
No Start/crank. Temp needle on max. No glow plug light
Hi fellows.

2007 puma 110 lhd

Was driving at 80 km/h. Engine stalled.
Turning key. No cranking. Alarm working normally.
Noticed temp needle on max when ignition on.
Glow plug light doesn’t appear anymore.
Engine light doesn’t appear anymore when turning ignition on.
Fuse 38 which has to go with the ecu right pin is ground while it’s supposed to be feeding +.
Fuse 37 for the ecu as well is + without issue.
Noticed in the manual the fuse 38 goes to the glow plug relay and ecu etc. Maybe related.

Any ideas ?

Check the relays as well. The ECU is fed by a fuse and a relay. I don't have the wiring diagram handy to tell you which ones but I'm sure the info is out there.

I had a similar issue when the connector on the back of the instrument had some how worked itself loose.
