Comes with the job though. Certain jobs expect longer more unsociable hours, I’m a truck driver, long hours and crap shift patterns are part of the job. |

Powder Coat - That is all. Blasted stuff is always, flaking or peeling or need refinishing which is a pain in its self.
Much rather get the damn stuff off and paint, repainting is easier and quicker and looks nicer. ⭐️⭐️God Bless the USA 🇬🇧🇺🇸 ⭐️⭐️ |

Is it just me getting older and more grumpy or our our leather clad 2 wheel road users becoming noisier and stupider?
Now we live in the Yorkshire dales I regularly see potential organ donors screaming down to Hawes, fortunately I live on a road with 4 gates so not so attractive to speed thrill lunatics. However this weekend I’ve been back in Cheshire at my Mums in Frodsham and the noise and generally ridiculous speeds through town centre have been worse than I have ever seen before. 130 Puma HCPU with an Artica 240LR Demountable Camper |

Businesses that don’t reply, often larger ones.
You would think they would want sales wouldn’t you, obviously holidays are more important etc. ⭐️⭐️God Bless the USA 🇬🇧🇺🇸 ⭐️⭐️ |

OOooo what a brilliant thread!
Pet gripes I've found my way (and most of the England) is that people who are dawdling seem to feel they're entitled to dawdle when others are moving. What I loved about Scotland on the few times we've visited is that if you're making progress people will slow and indicate to actively let you pass and it feels fun to return the favour when we've dawdled... but noooo, round here no chance of that. Near us there are quite a lot of 2 lane roads leaving the city (and entering) normally 40mph and what grinds my gears is folks that sit in the outside lane doing 30-35mph because at the very end of the road a couple miles away they need to be in that lane! I even see them proceeding on to the 3 lane A road in the middle lane and just living in it! I think that is why I have a lot more pleasure driving the Defender than our car, because I don't feel as inclined to zip places. Defenders are better than most cars so that is true.
Padlocks, the quality of them is appalling. They cost too much, jamb up, difficult to work with and often seize whatever care you put into them. Even down to difficult to put a key in the barrel. And it doesn’t seem to matter what brand or type, they are poorer quality than they used to be. ⭐️⭐️God Bless the USA 🇬🇧🇺🇸 ⭐️⭐️ |
