I’ve noticed the same at slow speeds, found that the headlining above the boot has a rattle if you give it a bit of a thump

My 90 commercial had some creaking noises in the back, it spent a week at the dealer and came back sorted. Unfortunately, when I collected it there was nobody there that knew what was done.
Do you have a sunroof? My wife's Evoque used to make the noises you describe in exactly the same situations which was identified as the seals around the sunroof being too dry. They've been lubricated and now seem fine. I'm not 100% sure but I think one of the guys in the service mentioned it being a known fault. |

Had this and fixed it very quickly and easily.
Symptoms were a body flex related squeak/creak from the top rear of the car (D250 90 HSE with sunroof). Fix was to spray some silicone spray stuff along the seam at the back edge of the sunroof and along the panel gap between the plastic top rear trim and the roof (just behind the shark fin). Obviously this was done from the outside of the car! Next day…gone. Previously I’ve wiped silicone spray around all the door seals and tailgate seal, and the interior trim join just either side of the rear seats to solve similar issues. |

I’ve found the 90 to be pretty bad for creaks, I’m on my 3rd and they’ve all had it. I’m guessing it’s due to the rear of the 90 being all plastic. 24MY 90 D250 HSE, Tasman Blue

yes, I agree - way too much plastic back there. Good to know I am not the only one with this issue at least. Of course the one I test drove was pretty silent lol

Not A 90 but a 110. I had some really annoying plastic squeaks and rattles on rough roads and speed bumps. The rear door inside trim plastic is terrible I managed to stop most of it by wedging foam in with the emergency triangle, if you prod and poke the inside door trim around that area you may find the noise like I did. 110 MY23.5 X Dynamic HSE

Yes, same for me on interior squeaks from the rear as well. They’ve forgotten to put felt tape between the abutting panels.

On my new 110 P400, I have an annoying squeak coming from my passenger door when you put your arm on the arm rest. I'm going to see if I can tight up some of the fasteners to make it go away.
One thing I've had great success with in my other rig, which has the most God-awful ABS plastic interior pieces covered in a faux leather material - is Tesa interior tape. It's not felt but its a soft backed tape that you can apply to the areas where the panels touch. Works amazingly well. Bonus is that you can use it on electrical looms. |
