Had a bit of time this morning finally got the stereo working and installed the rear towel electoral socket in the hole in the rear crossmember makes it nice and flush well worth the weight getting that bracket from IRD developments

It's a first rate product but the checkout on the store is not straightforward and it was took a while to get delivered but it's very well made and makes installing in less than five minutes

I see you have the 'American Style' 2" tow socket. Very nice! Much better solution than the rather restricted European ball only solution.
Have this myself and few tow adapters allowing to quickly swap between a high and low trailer mount or a solid and simple a bicycle carrier. |

I drilled the three mounting holes directly in the crossmember recess.. They are close to the edge of the rectangular hole, but it works, but I still should have spent a few quid or milled a bit of plate.....
