washer bottle

I have noticed the level in the washer bottle going down fairly quickly. When stopping the vehicle usually I get drips of water for a short time on to the ground on the passenger side. On checking the water runs down the wheel arch under the bottle. I have found that this is caused by water leaking from bottle via the press down blue top. It appears that the top is not a very good seal. I have topped up the bottle with a funnel to ensure no spills. The bottle itself is not leaking.Have not bothered to get it changed yet as I assume this is an inherent fault with the cap. Just thought I would mention it in case anyone out there was wondering where their washer fluid was going. 1982 88" 2.25 diesel

2007 Defender 110 Puma 2.4 XS CSW Java Black

I agree - it's a limp fit, but i've had no leaks myself, should be easy enough to find the part No. and replace it. Good luck.
