Matrix led headlights 2020 defender first edition
Hi,
I am looking at a 2020 110
It has matrix led lights but the signature Drl’s are not on. The side light boxes come on.

The dealer is trying to,tell me tgat on these first additions the drl’s on the matrix lights didn’t come on.

I am thinking from what I can find they are wrong. And they just don’t want to replace the lights.

Does anyone know if they are correct.

I have a 2020 model and that has NO signature lights

I think the 'S' model came without these lamps.

Seems odd. I'd check the build spec to make sure it was fitted with Matrix lights. Eiger Grey MY23 D250 SE with bits. Known as Noddy.

Mine are matrix headlamps with signature DRLs, 4 years on and had no problems with them.

Could it be that a previous owner has turned them off using the GAP tool, maybe after one failed?

How can I get hold of the build spec?

You sure it’s first edition? if it’s just the side lights that come on then it’s more likely a base model or an S. Do you have a photo or link to the car? 24MY 90 D250 HSE, Tasman Blue

Many thanks,
It was my thought they should be on.

So now to decide do I tell the dealer to sort before delivery. Or wait till I get the car. Check with the iid tool and get sorted under extended lr warrenty

Many thanks

I think that the engine has to be running and the gears out of Park for the DRL's to come on.
