Double din back to single
Hi all, I recently bought a 2013 Puma in Aintree green, overall it's in good condition, but the previous owner did a few modifications on her which are not my cup of tea. The most concerning is the double din conversion, apart from the fact that i prefer the simplicity of old school stereos (Blaupunkt Bremen) and the look of an unmolested dash, the workmanship on this conversion is very poor and needs a reconfiguration or an update. I was Just wondering whether anyone had reverted back to a factory set up and what would be involved in doing so? or whether i should work with what i have? any recommendation would be most welcome, tia
Get an original center part of your dash and replace, assuming they haven't botched anything behind the dash? The buttons can all slot back in. The issue is really only how you approach blanking the big hole where the switches are currently located. A full dash replacement being a few hundred quid.Monsieur Le Grenadier
I've not been everywhere, but it's on my list.....

There is a bit of butchery to the wiring and a screw on the top holding it all in but not too bad. I looked at purchasing MUD's centre dash piece, but i think the side pod will be the issue If i leave the pod it will be full of blanks, like myself

I ended up buying a complete new dash fascia panel from from Land Rover, I think it was £280 a few years ago but I tank it has doubled in price since then
