Diff oil
Lots of research so far....but one question on diff oil, I have used the castrol website to determine the correct oil.

Watching videos, it appears most people just fill the oil in the diffs to the height of the filling plug? Basically till it spills out? Is this OK...given the car will be level

Cheers

Yes, also transfer box.

If you have Td5 or earlier, also the main gearbox is fill to spill. 1988 90 Hard Top, 19J Diesel Turbo, Shire Blue - Restoration ongoing

Make sure you remove the fill plug before the drain plug, not only does it help the oil drain smoothly but you donโ€™t want to drop the oil and then find the filler is seized.

^^^^ This, and itโ€™s also a good time to fit magnetic diff plugs if not already fitted too. $W33T $0U7H3RN $UG4R
