Switzerland 2010 Defender 110 Puma 2.4 CSW Alaska White
Puma 2.4 Engine Number and Location
Hello

I hope everyone is well and had a great start into 2024. Our Defender 110 got a brand new Puma 2.4 engine (crack in the old engine block required the change).

Interestingly, the new engine does not have an engine number - no identification at all.

Would someone be so kind and share a picture (closeup) of the engine number of a Puma 2.4 (I only need a few numbers/letters to see the style and size), and the location of that number on the engine?

It seems I'll have to give the new engine the 'old' engine number, and want to make sure it is the right font style and size, and at the right location.

Thank you.

Swiss

It's in this image in the black rectangle sticker above the viscous fan.

It's starts with year month day (e.g. 20151023) and ends with DT224

Hello Will

Thank you very much for the info. It is greatly appreciated.

Sorry for the late reply. I took some time off from the electronic leashes. Have a wonderful Easter Weekend.
